PeopleSoft® Financial Aid
Financial Aid in PeopleSoft® Campus Solutions takes the Academic
Structure you have developed one step further. The key to successfully
implementing and utilizing the Financial Aid module is to understand the
intricate relationship between Student Records, Student Financials and Financial
Aid.
Academe Solutions' consultants are experts in designing the foundation that
meets the demands of your Financial Aid processing rules and requirements. Aid
Year Activation is the first step in maintaining Financial Aid for your students
on an annual processing cycle. The FA Term Build process provides a window from
Financial Aid into Student Records and Admissions (first time students).
Students must be activated each term in Student Records in order to enroll.
Depending on the rules that have been defined for a student's Primary Academic
Career and Program, Term Activation will project specific Levels and Loads that
will be utilized by the FA Term Build process to determine a student's
eligibility for Financial Aid. These steps are critical to assigning the correct
Financial Aid Budget and should be given detailed consideration.
